You stumble upon a random letter on the path.
This had been the route Oliver took to the gym everyday, down the lane, over the fence, across the fields and through the trees. So used to scene was he that he could easily traverse this journey in the pitch blackness of night. Today however there was something different. As he got to the edge of the trees he noticed a folded piece of paper nailed to one of the trunks, ‘Oliver’ had been scrawled across it. Curious, he tore it down, unfolded it and read it’s contents.
The words took his breath away, his knees trembled beneath him and he was over come with relief. They brought a smile to his face and a tear to his eye, “You are good enough.”
